A Message from the Owner
“I was born and raised in the Gainesville, Alachua County area. Growing up in the rural parts, there weren’t many homes that had central heating and air until the early ‘70s. Air conditioning was something we had to go to town to check out, because it was new to everyone. I had a desire to learn construction after high school, so I landed a job installing ductwork in homes that were being built at Haile Plantation in 1980. Over time, my interest grew to learn how the equipment operated and how the a/c systems were designed and installed.

They are the only perfectly ethical and honest that I have found in Gainesville. I had some bad luck but Bertie is wonderful. The man that owns the company is very good to his employees. I live in Hawthorne and they said they would be at my home at a certain time and they were exactly on time.They were very professional and polite. I had Bertie install a new AC unit (Lennox) in my 1800 sq.ft. garage over a year ago. Installation was very professional. The unit is extremely efficient, easy to use and set up to my time/temperature schedule. It has performed flawlessly and keeps my garage very comfortable. I have 5 large A/C (heat pumps) units and I use Bertie for all of my A/C needs. They're easy to work with, know their stuff and prompt. Gary K
