I would just like to take a moment to tell you how satisfied we are with the service we have received from your company. We have an extrememly old Carrier (22 years old and still running) and we first had a minor problem a few years back. We called your company and Mike (from Melrose) came out the same day we called, arriving probptly when promised.
He was able to diagnose the problem with the capacitor quickly, make the repair, and we once again were cool and comfortable at a reasonable price. We once again had a problem this week, the compressor fan was not running, so we called you again. This time, Allyn came out, the same day we called, promptly at the time promised. He very quickly diagnosed the problem, which thankfully again was minor, and make the repairs and had us up and running very quickly. And it was once again reasonable, under $100.
In a day and time when some businesses take their customers for granted, we feel very blessed to know that you respect us and that you hire such great, honest, knowledgeable personnel, and that you are only a phone call away if we ever experience problems. Same day service is a wonderful blessing, we are not used to being treated that way living out in Keystone Heights. (from Jacksonville businesses) An added note, if our "dinosaur" Carrier ever does bite the dust, we intend on once again calling you for a replacement.
We just wanted to let you know, as president of the company, how very pleased we were, since you probably hear complaints without hesitation, we feel the good things should be magnified, too.

We had a wonderful experience with Bertie Heating & Air beginning with our first contact with their salesman Duane. He has outstanding customer service skills and actually came to our home late on a Friday as it was the only time we could meet with him. He is very friendly, easy to talk with and extremely knowledgeable about his work and Trane products. Duane was always very responsive to our telephone calls and if we had to leave a message it was always promptly returned. We enjoyed learning from Duane about how he came to work with his company and the training he had received. Mr. Bertie should be extremely proud of this employee as Duane remarked about how great the company is and howwell he is treated by the owner. The two installers Joseph and his helper Rafael are also to be commended. They showed up on the date and time promised and worked the whole time taking only a short lunch break. They too were courteous, very respectful of our property and took actions to limit any dust when cutting the ceiling returns. They always cleaned up their work areas. On the second day of installation they stayed until around 9:30 pm to ensure that the job was complete since it was a Friday and they knew we were leaving town. There was also one additional Bertie team member whose name I can not recall who came to help remove the existing system and lift the new air handler. He was as friendly as the others and was a big help to the others in handling the heavy components. Bottom line all the Bertie members were true professionals who obviously know their trade well. We truly appreciated the way each handled themselves, their work ethic and the fact we never heard of any inappropriate language or complaining. I appreciate the opportunity to provide input on the service we were provided. I intended to write Mr. Bertie a letter but have not been able to yet. I can assure you that we will highly recommend Bertie Heating & Air and Trane products to others that would be in the need of heating and air work.Sincerely,

Recently my heat pump quit working. I called your company and you promptly sent a repairman, who diagnosed the problem as a failed circuit board. He ordered a replacement circuit board and installed a temporary by-pass until the new part could be received and installed.Friday, Shawn from your company arrived to install the replacement circuit board. He determined that the replacement had been slightly redesigned from the original and would not easily connect to the system. After exercising some ingenuity and effort (and staying beyond his regular working hours), he was able to install the new circuit board and get the system operating properly again. Shawn even called the next day (Saturday) just to ensure that no further problems arose, as it has been cold in Gainesville and he was concerned about my comfort.
Please express my appreciation to Shawn for his hard work and his concern. I will recommend Bertie Heating and Air Conditioning without hesitation to anyone in the area who needs such services.
